No wonder that some dealers and most makers wont send product info to blogs and forums. They post info from the maker sites incorrectly and maintain they got it from the horses mouth in order to feed their egos and build their self improtance.  Sad

Don't know why but I got the mtsc newsletter.  A guru named tom stark reviewed paragon new ACW.  He is a guru?  Oh well his review was a lot better then those I saw on some of the forums  are people still actually buying from mtsc ??

Nothing much just a rant

CTS schedule for the Korean line is strange. They always just seemed to state.  New item etc. 

Stengle still not on the ball. Doing same thing he did in 2014 

Barzso on the way out?  Seems so to us.

Paragon right schedule but many tell us the ACW figures not exciting.  And fig pose not enough even though u can change heads

LOD Figures folks seem to like a lot and he has some nice items promised for the future

Curious as to what seems like a huge interest in bucket sets. Certainly not collect able are they?  Diorama builders maybe the reason.?

 I don't think their,are any.  Forums that allow posts are moderated heavily. Word Press sites are blogs. Members can't start threads/post. Owners also control all comments  same with FB group sites as well as Yahoo groups.  The latter appears to be a bit more liberal. No clue as to a solution

We had been told a manufacturer was asking for suggestions as to what era to make soldiers for.  Now we hear the same one is looking for monetary aid.  Hmmmm last one to do this went out of business   We wish him success

Engineer B.  Looking like $45 per set. 12 figs (?) Sets all based on Russian history.  No for me thank you.

Lets see if I get this right. The Russian company Engineer something or another has raised the price on their Cubans and Hebrew figures so high that this west coast dealer has had to raise his retail price to $44 a bag. He says he will not reorder again.   Really?  Hmmm

Funny to read the dealers reports on this show. Most saying it was a poor show. One going so far a to say disregard any glowing rots in a certain magazine   Clouse report perhaps???   Lol lol. We never listen to him lol.  Sorry to hear dealers did so poorly.  Oh and when did Barzso make  A fort Dearborn set???

Recwnr New Products

Recent burst of new stuff has included some figure sets, playsets and a tank(?)

So many comments out there almost no reason for me to comment.  But I will. I don't have much interest in any period past 1900.  S I will not make any comments.  But fools who feel the same start off their comments with the same comment and then go on to review the figures. If you don't like the era and don't collect it please shut up.  A lot of fools like this out there. 

Do you folks really think Sell Toys, CTS and TSSD would sunk the money they do into NEW products if they didn't know what they were doing ?  The part I don't get is why one company is so earnestly seeking the advice of its customer as to what to do next.  Have they read  the comments out there besides the ones emailed to them.  I am a little cool on the playsets and could likely throw together a better one myself. Naw.

Went to show in nj a few weeks ago.  Wow have shows changed.   Fun watching the Putz of Pa yelling random comments at my very good friend.  Such a low life and so little plastic.  Lol lol

Why Mr Stengle

The Stengles as many know are making figures.   Young John has choosen sort of a new era which only Gung HO touched on ever so briefly. Mean while the elder Stengle is reissuing original figures. One we noted is the Marx Pack Mule.  This item not all that expensive and many originals are ok there. In fact they are available from thru dealers who sell Mexico reissues.  Why then go to all the expense and trouble ?  And he is not one many people would expect to see making reissues let alone selling them.
