Barszo
The news and picture of Barszo's new Rev War figure seem to be generating some discussion out there so of course we thought we would add our "Thoughts". I love the Rev War period and F & I but sadly like so many I do not study the uniforms that closely. The barrel band thingee would have gotten pass me and I will no doubt add them to my F & I items. I guess I fall into the group that feels if it is red it is OK. Oh the shame. But that is just me. On the other hand if a ACW soldier is dangled in front of my I go on the offensive!.
The bottom line I guess is enjoy them. However if you notice something that bothers you it is fine to mention it especially if you get the chance too BEFORE the figure has gone into production. After all we all have different tastes and personalities.

I stole this. I love AWI but not so much his figures as the scale is usually too Small or too big and they tend to break. I am told or read that this pose will be released in Plastic ? Oh well enjoy

Still more on Scale
Ok so scale as you know is a big thing to me. Why the others IMHO cant get it right but CTS seems to. I think it is the base. Others all seem to use large built up bases whereas CTS uses more of a flat base that like Imex, Marx, and Accurate. CTS figures may be still be large but the absence of the built up base makes then less looking like hulking giants. I hope CTS continues this practice.

IMEX
On suggestion of friends IMEX has been called (not by us) and they are in Business. As to what degree we didnt ask. They seemed very upset that a discussion group had posted they were out of business. Oh well. We are told the site printed a retraction.

We are hearing reports that IMEX model company is no more. Imex had some fine ACW figures as well as the molds for Accurate figures. We are further informed that an EBAY seller has them in bags labeled Vinny Toys ?? or IMEX Billy ?
