My thoughts and opinions on the 54mm/60mm Plastic Toy Soldier collecting hobby. Yes I seemingly rant at times and we explained in one of the first posts that we would be. So if you do not like that sort of stuff we suggest you leave NOW. Also look for some thoughts on history, informational posts and a bit of fun stuff from time to time.

Cavalry Rant.........
In the US Cavalry at least, the left hand was to be used solely for the reins of the mount. The right hand was used for the Saber and revolver. Carbines were fired when dismounted but at a halt (stopped dead) they could be utilized. They were almost never used in any other situation when mounted and certainly never fired ONE handed. Manufacturers please take note.

I took TSSD's riding carbine firing figures and cut them in half. The top goes on standing figure bottoms.
